Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Culture’s Grant-Aid Scheme for the Translation of Works by Cypriot Literary Writers from Greek into Foreign Languages, it is intended for international publishers, literary agents, translators, and cultural organizations planning to translate and publish works by Cypriot authors
Who can apply
Foreign publishers; Cypriot publishers partnering with a foreign publisher/distributor; or translators with a signed contract with a publisher
What's covered
Translation costs only, up to €25 per page, with a cap of €7,500 per project. (For funding math, a “page” = 250 words (prose); picture books usually have short word counts, so budgets are smaller.)
